Ephesians 4:4-6

1. One body of baptized into Christ believers

a. Acts 2:38-47

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

b. Ephesians 5:24-33

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

2. One Holy Spirit inspiring the same truth for all:

a. Acts 2:1-4

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

b. Acts 15:8

And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

d. I Corinthians 3:16, 17

3. One hope of heaven:

a. II Thessalonians 2:14

1. One Lord, the Only Head of the church:

Ephesians 5:23

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

a. Has All authority

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

I Peter 3:22

Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

b. Lord of all

Acts 10:36

c. Same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him

2. One faith, the entire body of New Testament truth revealed by the Holy Spirit:

a. Romans 10:8

b. Ephesians 4:13

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

3. One baptism, immersion in water for remission of sins:
